Twelve of the twenty-two UFC 102 fighters in action at Saturday’s event in Portland have been issued medical suspensions by the Oregon State Athletic Commission stemming from their bouts.
The longest suspension was dolled out to Portland-native Ed Herman, who is sidelined indefinitely from a fight-ending knee injury, while headliners Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Randy Couture were both issued 30 day precautionary suspensions.

Denis Kang won his second-straight bout on Saturday night, stopping UFC veteran Marvin Eastman with a right hook followed by strikes just 48-seconds into their main event bout at Raw Combat “Redemption” in Calgary, Canada.
Kang improved his record to 31-10-1 in the victory, while Eastman fell to 15-9-1.
