Veteran Marrero Tapped To Replace Schoenauer at WEC 36

Light heavyweight UFC veteran Carmelo Marrero (7-2) has been tapped to replace Alex Schoenauer against Steve Steinbeiss (4-1) at WEC 36 on Wednesday, November 5th, at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
MMA Weekly is reporting that Schoenauer was forced out of the bout due to a torn hamstring.

UFC and IFL veteran Alex Schoenauer has agreed to replace Mark Munoz on short notice and take on Steve Steinbeiss in a lightweight heavyweight bout at WEC 36, reports MMA Weekly.

Mark Munoz (4-0) has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled WEC 36 bout against Steve Steinbeiss (4-1) due to an undisclosed injury.
No replacement has yet been announced.
MMA Weekly reported the lineup change on Tuesday.
Undefeated in his professional career, Munoz defeated Chuck Grigsby via first-round TKO in his WEC debut at WEC 34 in June.
