<p>UFC veterans Roan Carneiro and Yves Edwards were both victorious at Friday&#8217;s  &#8220;Shine 2: American Top Team vs. The World&#8221; event, which took place at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, Florida. Representing ATT, Carneiro topped Jorge Patino in the headliner, while Edwards submitted James Warfield in the second-round in the co-main event. ATT went 4-0 on the card, as Luiz Firmino and Micah Miller also earned victories.</p>

Also on the HDNet-televised card, Pablo Alfonso won the XFC bantamweight title with a fourth-round submission of Jason Goodall.</p>

<p>Minnesota Martial Arts Academy product Derrick Noble topped veteran Shonie Carter in the main event of Saturday&#8217;s Vendetta FC: A Night of Vengeance card, which took place Oranjestad, Aruba. The event also featured a eight-man tournament won by Rodney Wallace with a finals victory over The Ultimate Fighter 8&#8217;s Antwain Britt.</p>

<p>Strikeforce middleweight Joe Riggs has agreed to step into the vacant slot on a week&#8217;s notice. The bout will be contested at a catch-weight of 178 pounds, confirmed Strikeforce representative Mike Afromowitz.</p>
<p>Carter told Sherdog.com that he shattered a knuckle in his hand while training and was fearful he wouldn&#8217;t pass the California State Athletic Commission&#8217;s physical examination next week to proceed with the bout.</p></blockquote>
