11 of the 24 fighters who were in action on Saturday in Cologne, Germany at UFC 99 have been issued medical suspensions, including main event winner Rich Franklin, co-headliners Cain Velasquez and Cheick Kongo, and Mostapha Al-Turk, who suffered a controversial eye poke from eventual winner Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic.

Despite back-to-back losses to Cheick Kongo and Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic as well as a career record that hovers just above .500 at 6-5, Mostapaha Al-Turk will fight again in the UFC. "The UFC has said Mostapha will get another fight," said Al-Turk's manager Paul Ivens.

In a clash of former champions, Rich Franklin defeated Wanderlei Silva via unanimous decision on Saturday in Cologne, Germany in the main event of UFC 99: The Comeback. Cain Velasquez, Mirko "Cro Cop", Mike Swick, Spencer Fisher, and Dan Hardy also picked up main card victories at the event.

All 24 UFC 99 fighters, including headliners Wanderlei Silva and Rich Franklin, successfully made weight on Friday at the Lanxess Arena in Cologne, Germany for their bouts, which take place at the venue on Saturday and air live on pay-per-view.

As reported in May, Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic will return to the Octagon at UFC 99 on June 13 in Cologne, Germany against Mustapha Al-Turk. From UFC.com: "After weeks of speculation, the news is finally official – international superstar Mirko Cro Cop is returning to the UFC."

Heavyweight Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic, who looked unimpressive in a three-fight UFC sting in 2007 that saw him go just 1-2, will return to the Octagon in June at UFC 99 in Cologne, Germany against Mustapha al-Turk.
