On Tuesday, the UFC officially announced a pair of December cards, as the promotion heads to Las Vegas on December 5 for The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale before holding UFC 107 on December 12 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Previously-reported fights between Matt Hamill and Jon Jones as well as Frankie Edgar and Kurt Pellegrino were confirmed for The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale, while BJ Penn vs. Diego Sanchez, Frank Mir vs. Cheick Kongo, and Thiago Alves vs. Paulo Thiago were announced for UFC 107.

Krzysztof Soszynski has agreed to fight Brandon Vera in a light heavyweight contest at UFC 102 in August 29 in Portland, Oregon after Vera’s original opponent, Matt Hamill, was forced to withdraw from the bout due to a knee injury.

Soszynski earned back-to-back wins over Brian Stann and Andre Gusmao earlier this year to push his winning streak to six, while Vera scored a leg kick TKO of Mike Patt in March to rebound from losses in 3 of his last 4 fights.

The fight card for UFC 102: Couture vs. Nogueira, which is set to take place on August 29th at the Rose Garden in Portland, Oregon, has been finalized.

Joining a heavyweight headliner between Randy Coture and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira on the pay-per-view main card are Keith Jardine vs. Thiago Silva, Chris Leben vs. Jake Rosholt, Demian Maia vs. Nate Marquardt, and Matt Hamill vs. Brandon Vera.

The scheduled Light Heavyweight bout between Matt Hamill and Brandon Vera that as originally reported to be set for UFC 101, has not reportedly been moved. Instead of taking place at the beginning of August, it will instead take place at the end of the month at the as yet unannounced UFC 102 in Portland, Oregon.

Light heavyweights Matt Hamill and Brandon Vera are likely to clash on the main card of UFC 101 on August 8th in Philadelphia. Both fighters have reportedly received contracts for the bout and are expected to sign on to make the fight official.

All eleven fighters drug tested by the Ohio Athletic Commission following their bouts at UFC 96 on March 7th in Columbus, Ohio have tested negative.

Quinton "Rampage" Jackson took home nearly half of the disclosed $762,000 payroll at UFC 96, earning $325,000 for his unanimous decision victory over Keith Jardine in the evening's headliner. Jardine received $55,000 for the losing effort.

Eleven UFC 96 competitors, including all ten of the evening's winners, were drug tested by the Ohio Athletic Commission following their bouts on Saturday at the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.

Quinton Jackson topped Keith Jardine via unanimous decision in the UFC 96 main event and Shane Carwin, Matt Brown, Matt Hamill, and Gray Maynard also picked up main card victories.
