The lightweight bout between Kenny Florian and Clay Guida that was originally scheduled for UFC 106 in November has been moved to UFC 107 on December 12 in Memphis, TN. This news comes on the heels of the announcement that the BJ Penn vs. Diego Sanchez bout was moved to this event, as well as the postponement of the scheduled Rashad Evans vs. Quinton “Rampage” Jackson bout to a later event.

A lightweight matchup between top 155-pounders Kenny Florian and Clay Guida is likely for UFC 106 on November 21 in Las Vegas, according to Fanhouse’s Michael David Smith.

Florian had won six-straight before being submitted by lightweight champ BJ Penn earlier this month, while Guida dropped a split decision to Diego Sanchez in his last fight in June after winning his previous three bouts.

Anderson Silva says he wants to fight at heavyweight and has his sights set of former-champion Frank Mir, Georges St-Pierre continues to recover from a groin injury and is likely to return to action in January, and Efrain Escudero vs. Cole Miller and Drew McFedries vs. Tomasz Drwal are set for the Spike TV broadcast of the UFC 103 undercard.
