Sengoku 11 Results: Omigawa Upsets Hioki, Khalidov Stops Santiago

Michihiro Omigawa upset Hatsu Hioki on Saturday at Sengoku 11 in Tokyo, Japan, receiving a controversial split decision win in the evening’s main event. Also on the card, Mamed Khalidov extended his unbeaten streak to 18-straight by making quick work of Jorge Santiago, while notables Jorge Masvidal, Akihiro Gono, and Dave Herman also picked up wins.

All 22 fighters set to participate at Saturday’s Sengoku 11th Battle event in Tokyo, Japan successfully made weight earlier today for their bouts. The official weigh-in results for the HDNet-televised event, which is headlined by Hatsu Hioki vs. Michihiro Omigawa, are after the jump.

UFC middleweight champ Anderson Silva will undergo elbow surgery after all to remove bone spurs and will be sidelined briefly, Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic is not retiring following his latest loss and intends to fight at least once more, at a November 7 Strikforce event headlined by Fedor Emelianenko vs. Brett Rogers will take place at the Sears Centre near Chicago.
