Middleweights Joey Villasenor and Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos, who meet in the headliner of Friday’s Strikeforce Challengers event at the ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington, successfully made weight on Thursday along with the event’s 20 other fighters, including Tim Kennedy, Nick Thompson, Jorge Gurgel, Shayna Baszler, and Sarah Kaufman.

Strikeforce has finalized the card for it’s next event, a “Strikeforce Challengers” set for June 19 in Kent, Washington. Headlining will be “Smokin” Joey Villasenor taking on Evangelista “Cyborg” Santos in a middleweight bout, with possible future title implications.

Strikeforce on Tuesday announced the second installment of ShoMMA: Strikeforce Challengers, which is set to take place on June 19th at the ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington. The event, which will is be broadcast live on Showtime, will be headlined bya middleweight matchup between Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos (16-12) and Joey Villasenor (26-6).

A heavyweight championship bout between current title-holder Alistair Overeem and challenger Brett Rogers as well as a middleweight bout between Joey Villasenor and Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos are the latest additions to Strikeforce's June 6th event.

EliteXC middleweight champion Robbie Lawler (18-4) will rematch with top 185-pound challenger Joey Villasenor (26-6) in the main event of EliteXC’s November 8th event, which will air on Showtime.
The long-rumored matchup was announced during Friday’s Showtime broadcast of ShoXC “Reis vs. Cullum”, though a location for the event has not yet been announced.
