Two former UFC stars were in action last night at Adrenaline MMA IV in Council Bluffs, Iowa, among others. Former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia and UFC light heavyweight fighter Houston Alexander were both looking to pick up much needed wins when they stepped inside the cage last night, and both did just that.

Former WEC welterweight champion Carlos Condit was defeated in his anticipated UFC debut, dropping a split decision to Martin Kampmann in the UFN 18 main event.

Twenty-two of the twenty-four fighters scheduled to be in action at UFC Fight Night 18 successfully weighed in for their bouts on Tuesday at the Sommet Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Joe Vedepo, who suffered a knockout loss to Alessio Sakara on the UFC Fight Night 15 preliminary card in his UFC debut, has been issued the only medical suspension stemming from Saturday’s UFC event in Omaha, Nebraska.
