Thiago Alves failed to make weight today at the 02 Arena in London, England at the weigh-ins for UFC 85 “Bedlam”. Just hours after announcing that Rashad Evans would face Luiz Cane at UFC 85 in London on June 7th following an injury to James Irvin, the UFC has now released a finalized, official fight card for the pay-per-view event and has announced that Evans will no longer be fighting on the card.

A broken foot has forced light heavyweight James Irvin to withdraw from his UFC 85 showdown with Rashad Evans at London’s O2 Arena. Stepping up to replace ‘The Sandman’ against Evans is Brazil’s Luiz Cane, who was originally scheduled to face Jason Lambert on the June 7th card.
