A broken arm wasn’t enough to prevent UFC newcomer James Te Huna from earning his first win inside the Octagon at Saturday’s UFC 110 in Sydney, Australia, as the New Zealand native scored a third-round TKO of fellow light heavyweight Igor Pokrajac on the event’s preliminary card.

Heavyweight contender Cain Velasquez passed the toughest test of his young career with ease on Saturday in the main event of UFC 110, remaing undefeated with a first-round knockout of former UFC and PRIDE champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia.

In the co-main event, Wanderlei Silva nearly finished Michael Bisping in his middleweight debut, but instead settled for a narrow unanimous decision over The Ultimate Fighter 3 winner.

All 18 fighters scheduled to compete tomorrow at “UFC 110: Nogueira vs. Velasquez” successfully made weight on Friday at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia, the same venue which hosts Saturday’s pay-per-view event.

Lightweight fighter, Chris Horodecki is expected to sign with the WEC very soon. Jeff Curran has recently signed a contract with Strikeforce. Middleweight Robbie Lawler is expecting a December return to action in Strikeforce.
