Heavyweights Shane Carwin and Gabriel Gonzaga are likely to clash at UFC 96 on March 7th in Columbus, Ohio, Five Ounces of Pain is reporting.

In other UFC 96 news, former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell, in a recent radio interview on The Tom Leykis Show, confirmed that he’s working towards a rematch with Keith Jardine at the march event. “There’s been a few names,” said Liddell. “We have Jardine listed. We want him in March.”

All ten UFC 91 competitors tested by the Nevada State Athletic Commission have passed their post-fight drug screenings.

The negative results were today confirmed to MMAFrenzy.com by NSAC Executive Director Keith Kizer via email.

Tested by the NSAC were Randy Couture, Brock Lesnar, Kenny Florian, Dustin Hazelett, Gabriel Gonzaga, Demian Maia, Jeremy Stephens, Aaron Riley, Mark Bocek, and Matt Brown.

UFC newcomer Josh Hendricks (14-4) will take on Gabriel Gonzaga (9-3) at UFC 91 on November 15th in Las Vegas.

Hendricks, a King of the Cage veteran, has not lost in nine-straight bouts. He last defeated James Powell via first-round knockout at Legend of Fighting 21 in November 2007.
