Frank Mir (9-3 MMA, 7-3 UFC), the former UFC Heavyweight Champion was scratched earlier this week due to a then undisclosed injury. MMAWeekly.com is reporting that Mir was forced to withdraw due to a shoulder injury. From the article:

UFCJunkie.com has broken the news that Hector Ramirez (6-2-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) has been scratched from UFC Fight Night 9 and has been replaced by Seth Petruzelli (6-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC). Petruzelli will be taking on Wilson Gouveia (7-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC). They report the scratch was due to an undisclosed injury.
