With its second season debut on April 8 now less than eight weeks away, Bellator Fighting Championships today announced the opening round matchups for its upcoming eight-man featherweight tournament. The matchups are Joe Warren vs. Eric Marriott and Georgi Karakhanyan vs. Bao Quach on April 8 and Wilson Reis vs. Shad Lierley and Patricio Pitbull vs. William Romero on April 15.

Bellator Fighting Championships put the finishing touches on its much-anticipated Season 2 featherweight tournament today with the signing of 17-2 submission specialist Eric Marriott, who is the eighth and final confirmed participant in the tournament. First-round matchups will be announced next week.
