Gerald Harris, a cast member on the Ultimate Fighter 7, knocked out former WEC and UFC fighter Nissen Osterneck in the co-main event to with the promotion’s middleweight title.

Don Frye has withdrawn from a matchup against Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal which was to headline M-1 Global’s August 28 “Breakthrough” event after the card was recently moved from Los Angeles to Kansas City.

Ricardo Arona vs. Marvin Eastman, Paulo Filho vs. Alex Schoenauer, and Pedro Rizzo vs. Jeff Monson are set for Bitetti Combat on September 12 in Brazil, Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal will face Don Frye at M-1 Global’s “Breakthrough” event on August 28 in Los Angeles, Eliot Marshall vs. Jason Brilz has been added to UFC 103, and the Palace Fighting Championship has ceased operations.

A rumored bout between Bobby Lashley and Don Frye will not take place, according to Lashley’s agent “Method”, who posted on Monday in the MMAFrenzy.com Forums that reports of the matchup are “not true” and that the heavyweight prospect’s next fight will be announced in the coming weeks.

Method says one name you can cross off the list of potential opponents is Strikeforce heavyweight contender Brett Rogers, with an opponent for Lashley’s next fight already determined but not yet been finalized.

The Ultimate Fighter 10 heavyweight hopeful Rex Richards tasted defeat for the second time in his professional MMA career on Saturday at Shark Fights 4, falling to Darill Schoonover via fourth-round TKO in the event's headliner. The event, which was held at the City Bank Coliseum in Lubbock, Texas, also featured victories by Don Frye and Jesse Taylor.
