Since his first-round TKO loss to Mauricio "Shogun" Rua at UFC 97 in mid-April a debate has raged over whether Chuck Liddell would, or should, return to the octagon for at least one more bout. "Right now, I couldn’t say that I’m not going to fight again," said Liddell in a recent interview.

If you just can’t get enough of Dana White and some of the UFC stars, you may be interested to know that White will be appearing on today’s airing of the Dr. Phil show. Alongside White will be UFC lightweight number one contender Kenny Florian and former UFC light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin.

UFC President Dana White in a post-UFC 97 interview with Yahoo! Sports: "I can honestly tell you that I’ve never put on an event that I was embarrassed to be at until tonight. I want to publicly apologize to all the fans. I apologize."

UFC president Dana White announced during the post-UFC 97 press conference that former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell has fought for the last time in his hall-of-fame career. Also announced were the official attendance, gate, and bonus figures for UFC 97.

During yesterday's pre-UFC 97 press conference in Montreal, Dana White announced plans for the promotion to visit Boston, New York City, and Toronto by 2010. All three cities do not currently regulate mixed martial arts but a push is on the legalize the sport so the UFC could hold events in each city by next year.
