UFC heavyweight Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will undergo surgery to repair injuries to his hips and knee, which forced him to withdraw from a UFC 119 rematch with Frank Mir, and expects to resume training in around four months.

Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic will replace an injured Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and fight Frank Mir in the main event of UFC 119 on September 25 in Indianapolis.

The UFC 119 fight card is co-headlined by Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Ryan Bader and also includes Chris Lytle vs. Matt Serra and Evan Dunham vs. Sean Sherk.

As expected, the UFC today announced that it make its Indianapolis debut on September 25 with “UFC 119: Mir vs. Nogueira 2,” which is headlined by a rematch between former heavyweight title-holders Frank Mir and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.

All 18 fighters scheduled to compete tomorrow at “UFC 110: Nogueira vs. Velasquez” successfully made weight on Friday at the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia, the same venue which hosts Saturday’s pay-per-view event.
