The event took place yesterday at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas in front of an official crowd of 6,100, which generated a live gate of $297,990.

WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown submitted Leonard Garcia just 1:57 into their WEC 39 headliner to retain the 145-pound title. Ricardo Lamas, Jose Aldo, and Rob McCullough also earned victories on the evening's main card.
