I’m going to be in London for ufc 134 for work, I’m just wondering if someone can tell me what it’s like trying to watch ufc ppv’s there. Is it on cable? Any bars show it (I guess unlikely considering it starts at 2am). I really hope I don’t have to miss this because of work.

    Thanks kevguy201

I am not staying in a hotel, I am going to be in an apartment with cable, so hopefully its on one of the channels. I am not concerned how late it is on (well…it sucks), but I’ll probably stay up and watch it, I should have sunday to recover before heading back into work on Monday. Too bad I don’t know anybody there I could watch the fights with.

Well guys I’m in London, and I haven’t been run over yet looking the wrong way to cross the road:) I don’t know if anybody will actually reads this, but I’m bored and thought I’d write a little something (even if it’s just for me).

Kev, seems I’m not screwed, I’ve been put up in an apartment with cable and ESPN so I am going to be watching the fights this Saturday…at 2 in the morning!! Until 5 in the morning! Ugh! Oh well, my body hasn’t adjusted yet so it’ll still feel like 9-12 to me.

I’m staying in a place right by the airport, there’s a big, round holiday inn right beside me. I am so glad I am not spending the next 3 weeks in a hotel room, at least I can cook and I don’t have to eat out for every meal. I’m planning on going down to the Science museum on Saturday and then watching the fights Saturday night, going to watch the end of the myth :) Well, probably not, but one can hope.

That’s great about the fights. Must be tough to stay up from to 2am-5am for the fights but i have a feeling it will be worth it! Enjoy your stay in london dude!

    aaaaawwwwwwww!!!!!

So I’m at work today talking with one of the guys about watching the fights tomorrow night on ESPN, and he asks me if I get the channel. I’m thinking of course, I tell him I just checked the guide on the tv yesterday to make sure it was on. He says yeah but did you actually try and watch the channel, he said it’s on his guide as well but he doesn’t actually get the channel. OH SH!T…I don’t get the f…ing channel, it’s scrambled, so my whole plan of staying up late and getting to watch a ppv for free just went out the window. I was so excited for this and now I’m going to miss it :( Too bad I don’t know anyone here I could hang with to watch the fights, he11 I’d even provide the beer. I may have to try and drink my sorrows away :(

Thanks for the responses guys, and Jazz, I am going to enjoy my time here, I have weekends off so I’ll do the tourist thing over the next few weekends and see some sites. This is my first time out of north america (besides Bermuda when I was in grade 4), so I’m excited to see some sites.
