UFC 70 A Massive Ratings Success

The UFC has “reached a deal” with HBO to show fights on the network this summer, albeit with a different broadcasting crew than the UFC traditionally uses. UFC 72 in June has already been announced for Spike TV so we are probably looking UFC 73 and beyond before we see an event on HBO.

Pride Lightweight GP Rescheduled; Pride Musuem Announced

UFC Files Lawsuit Against Competitor

UFC’s parent company, Zuffa, LLC, has filed a lawsuit against one of their up-and-coming competitors Showtime’s Elite XC. The lawsuit was filed March 22nd in the U.S. District Court of Nevada and allegeges copyright infringment of UFC’s intelectual property according to court doccuments.
