The UFC has officially announced UFC 94: St-Pierre vs. Penn 2, which features the highly anticipated rematch between welterweight title-holder Georges St-Pierre and lightweight champion BJ Penn.

Now, nearly three years removed from their first meeting, the pair of top UFC fighters will meet again, but this time the welterweight championship will be on the line when they clash on January 31st in Las Vegas.

A featured welterweight bout between 170-pound contenders Karo Parisyan (18-5) and Dong Hyun Kim (11-0) is likely to take place at UFC 94 on January 31st in Las Vegas.

The matchup will be featured on the pay-per-view main card, which is headlined by Georges St-Pierre vs. BJ Penn.

Rising UFC lightweight Nate Diaz, the winner of the fifth season of The Ultimate Fighter, will likely return to action at UFC 94.

Diaz was originally slated to meet fellow lightweight contender Clay Guida in his next bout, potentially in December on Spike TV, but the matchup was scrapped after Guida suffered a foot injury in his recent win over Mac Danzig.

Diaz will instead return at UFC 94, but an opponent has not yet been determined for the bout, though, depending upon the severity of the injury, Guida remains a likely possibility.

Light heavyweights Matt Hamill (4-2) and Reese Andy (7-3) are likely to clash at UFC 92 on December 27th in Las Vegas.

UFC 92: The Ultimate 2008 features a trio of marquee bouts as Forrest Griffin defends the light heavyweight title against Rashad Evans, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira puts the interim heavyweight title on the line against Frank Mir, and former champions Wanderlei Silva and Quinton Jackson go toe-to-toe in a light heavyweight rematch.

Jake O’Brien will look to rebound from back-to-back losses against fellow-heavyweight Christian Wellisch at UFC 94 on January 31st in Las Vegas.

O’Brien emerged as a heavyweight up-and-comer with three-straight victories to start his UFC career, including a victory over veteran Heath Herring, but next suffered back-to-back losses to Andrei Arlovski and Cain Velasquez, the first two defeats of his young career.

After suffering a first-round knockout to Cheick Kongo in his UFC debut Wellisch rebounded to score back-to-back UFC wins over Anthony Perosh and Scott Junk. However, he was stopped by surging heavyweight Shane Carwin in just 44-seconds at UFC 84 in May.

Lightweights Manny Gamburyan and Thiago Tavares are likely to square off at UFC 94 on January 31st in Las Vegas.

Official agreements for the fight have not yet been signed, but Gamburyan has confirmed that he has verbally agreed to the 155-pound matchup.

Light heavyweights Stephan Bonnar (12-4) and Jon Jones (6-0) will clash at UFC 94 on January 31st in Las Vegas.

UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre and UFC lightweight champion BJ Penn clash for the 170-pound title in the main event of UFC 94, which will air live on pay-per-view.

Dan Cramer (0-0) will make his MMA debut on January 31st in a welterweight bout against Matt Arroyo (3-2) at UFC 94 in Las Vegas, according to The Wrestling Observer.
