UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta has confirmed that BJ Penn will likely meet Kenny Florian in the main event of UFC 101 on August 8th in Philadelphia. Fertitta also announced that Randy Couture and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will headline UFC 102 on August 29th in Portland.

It looks like Dana White wasn't just thinking out loud when he expressed interest in bringing the UFC to Philadelphia, after mixed martial arts gained approval in Pennsylvania just last month. According to a new report, UFC 101, which was originally slated for Portland, Ore, could now emanate from the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia, PA.

Melvin Guillard will step into the octagon for the first time in over a year at UFC 101, taking on Thiago Tavares on August 8th in Portland, Oregon.

Forrest Griffin will return to the octagon on August 8th to take on Thiago Silva in what is expected to be the co-main event of UFC 101 in Portland, Oregon beneath a headlining matchup featuring Randy Couture against Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira.
