Today the UFC announced their season 6 tryouts for The Ultimate Fighter. The show played a large role in taking MMA to where it is today. Here’s the release from UFC.com:

UFCJunkie.com has broken the news that Hector Ramirez (6-2-1 MMA, 0-1 UFC) has been scratched from UFC Fight Night 9 and has been replaced by Seth Petruzelli (6-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC). Petruzelli will be taking on Wilson Gouveia (7-4 MMA, 1-1 UFC). They report the scratch was due to an undisclosed injury.
