Two-time NCAA Division I National Wrestling Champion and former UFC Heavyweight Champion Kevin “The Monster” Randleman (17-12) will make his long-awaited return to mixed martial arts (MMA) action when he squares off with fellow grappling expert Mike Whitehead (23-7) on June 6th at Strikeforce: “Lawler vs. Shields” in St. Louis.

Strikeforce on Tuesday announced the second installment of ShoMMA: Strikeforce Challengers, which is set to take place on June 19th at the ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington. The event, which will is be broadcast live on Showtime, will be headlined bya middleweight matchup between Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos (16-12) and Joey Villasenor (26-6).

Undefeated power puncher Sarah Kaufman (8-0) will fill the void left by Kim “Sugar Free” Couture and throw down with fellow rising star Miesha Tate (6-1) in a 135-pound contest during the SHOWTIME televised portion of the inaugural Strikeforce Challengers mixed martial arts (MMA) event at Save Mart Center in Fresno, Calif., on Friday, May 15.

Renato Babalu Sobral's first defense of his Strikeforce title has been postponed. Sobral had initially been rumored to be facing off against Rafael Feijao in May, but then was later announced for June 6th. Since that time it has been confirmed that Sobral's child is expected to be born on May 24th, forcing the fighter to withdraw from the event.
