UFC 100 Results: Lesnar and St-Pierre Remain Champions with Dominant Wins, Henderson KOs Bisping

Heavyweight title-holder Brock Lesnar became the UFC’s undisputed heavyweight champion on Saturday in the main event of UFC 100 by avenging the only loss of his MMA career with a second-round knockout of interim champ Frank Mir to cap off the historic pay-per-view event, which took place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre retained his title with a unanimous decision over Thiago Alves and Dan Henderson scored a second-round knockout of Michael Bisping in UFC 100’s other top bouts.

USA West Clinches M-1 Challenge Post-Season Berth With 5-0 Rout of Russia Imperial

PRESS RELEASE — USA West became the first team from the 2009 “M-1 Challenge Presented by Affliction” season to clinch a semifinal final playoff berth on Saturday night. The post-season berth was locked down after taking first place in Group B by defeating the defending 2008 M-1 Challenge Champions, Team Russia Imperial.

While family and friends celebrate the Fourth of July at home in America, USA West held a celebration of its own in Seoul after recording its second 5-0 shutout of the season by sweeping Imperial. The statement victory allowed the Americans to finish the regular season with an unblemished 3-0 challenge record and a remarkable 13-2 record in individual fights.

Kyle Jensen, Micah Miller Win at First-Ever MMA Event in Pittsburgh

WEC veterans Kyle Jensen and Micah Miller were both victorious on Saturday night, winning their co-headliners at Ultimate Cage Fighting Championship’s “Rumble on the Rivers,” the first-ever MMA event held in Pittsburgh.

Also on the card, TUF 7 cast member Paul Bradley successfully made his welterweight debut with a decision win over Leonardo Pecahana and 2008 NCAA Division I wrestling champion Phil Davis improved to 4-0 with a first-round rear naked choke submission of David Baggett.

TUF 9 Finale Results: Sanchez Edges Guida in Three-Round War; Wilks and Pearson Win TUF Tourneys

Diego Sanchez and Clay Guida delivered on their Fight of the Year hype, engaging in a three-round war in the main event of The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale on Saturday that saw Sanchez edge Guida by split decision on the judge’s scorcards.

The rest of the card failed to disappoint either as Chris Lytle and Kevin Burns traded blows in a bout that deserved Fight of the Night before being upstaged by Sanchez and Guida, Joe Stevenson looked impressive in topping Nate Diaz by unanimous decision in a technical battle, and welterweight James Wilks and lightweight Ross Perason were crowned The Ultimate Fighter 9 champions with victories on the Spike-televised main card.

Weigh-ins for The Ultimate Fighter 9 Finale take place today, Friday June 19, at 7pm ET at The Pearl at The Palms in Las Vegas.

The Spike-televised event is headlined by a showdown between lightweight contenders Clay Guida and Diego Sanchez and also features Nate Diaz vs. Joe Stevenson, as well as the TUF 9 lightweight finals between Andre Winner (UK) and Ross Pearson (UK) and the welterweight finals featuring Demarques Johnson (US) and James Wilks (UK).
