Stephan Bonnar’s controversial loss to fellow light heavyweight Krzysztof Soszyski at UFC 110 will stand, after Bonnar’s appeal of the loss was recently turned down. They are now expected to rematch at The Ultimate Fighter 11 Finale on June 19 in Las Vegas.

The fight card for “UFC Fight Night 21: Florian vs. Gomi” is now officially complete after the UFC announced a previously-reported matchup between lightweights Rob Emerson and Nik Lentz for the preliminary card of the March 31 event at the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina.

UFN 21, which airs live on Spike TV ahead of the debut of The Ultimate Fighter 11, is headlined by Kenny Florian vs. Takanori Gomi, with Roy Nelson vs. Stefan Struve, Nate Quarry vs. Jorge Rivera, and Ross Pearson vs. Dennis Siver also featured on the 11 fight card.

The Ultimate Fighter 6 winner Mac Danzig will look to build off his recent victory when he takes on fellow lightweight Matt Wiman on June 12 at UFC 115 in Vancouver. Danzig snapped a three-fight losing streak with a win over Justin Buchholz in February, while Wiman recovered from back-to-back losses with a December victory over Shane Nelson.

A welterweight bout between Martin Kampmann and Paulo Thiago is in the works for UFC 115, as the 170-pound contenders have reportedly agreed to fight at the June 12 event in Vancouver.

Kampmann earned a win over Jacob Volkmann in January, but was recently sidelined by a cut, while Thiago defeated Mike Swick in February for his second-straight win.

Flores is likely to debut in June or July and could fight at light heayweight or middleweight.

A recently-reported event expected to be headlined by former UFC champion Tim Sylvia vs. five-time “World’s Strongest Man” Mariusz Pudzianowski, originally scheduled for April 23, has been postponed until May 21 to resolve a television conflict. The card will still take place at the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts near Boston and will likely feature Houston Alexander vs. Seth Petruzelli, Yves Edwards, and Rich Clementi.

Former Strikeforce middleweight champion Cung Le is likely to return to action in Strikeforce soon and is hoping for a rematch with Scott Smith, who scored a come-from-behind knockout in December to hand Le his first career loss:

Rumors that Kimbo Slice could be pulled from UFC 113 to headline UFC Fight Night 22, a likely April 17 event on Spike TV opposite Strikeforce’s return to CBS, were dismissed today, as an expected matchup with fellow Ultimate Fighter 10 castmember Matt Mitrone was officially announced for the May 8 pay-per-view event in Montreal.
