Recently crowned Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi has confirmed that he will be defending his title on the CBS televised November 7 Strikeforce event, at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. The scheduling of the title defense was recently confirmed by Mousasi with m-1global.com, though no opponent has been confirmed.

The tenth season of the UFC’s reality show, “The Ultimate Fighter” debuted last night following “Ultimate Fight Night 19″ and smashed the series’ previous ratings record or 2.8 million for the finale of season three in 2006. The premiere episode of “The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights” brought in a jaw dropping 4.1 million viewers, and became the highest rated original show in Spike’s history, according to a Spike TV press release.

As much as we would all like “Grease Gate” to go away, BJ Penn brought it up again this week on his video blog at BJPenn.com, in response to a question by one of the members of his website.

Unhappy with the way he was portrayed in the first installment of the UFC’s “Primetime” series, which hypes his January 31st bout against welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre, lightweight champion BJ Penn has abruptly decided he no longer wishes to be involved with the show, according to MMAJunkie.com:
