Mark Coleman has been forced to withdraw from his UFC 106 co-headlining matchup with Tito Ortiz, according to Ortiz, who posted the news early this morning on Twitter:

In other notable action, Antonio McKee topped Carlo Prated by unanimous decision in the MFC 22 co-main event, while John Alessio stopped Luigi Fioravanti with strikes in the third round of their featured bout.

Despite losing to Roy Nelson last night on The Ultimate Fighter 10, Kimbo Slice will get another opportunity to fight in the UFC, with MMAjunkie reporting today that Slice is likely to fight at The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale on December 5 in Las Vegas.

Former IFL champ Roy Nelson defeated popular streetfighter Kimbo Slice via second-round TKO in their anticipated heavyweight matchup on the third episode of The Ultimate Fighter 10. After the loss, it’s teased that Slice could return to the competition when an injury threatens to sideline one of his teammates.

On Wednesday, the UFC made three more bouts for the UFC 106 official. UFC welterweights Mike Swick and Dan Hardy got rumors swirling yesterday that they may be facing off against one another in the near future, and UFC President Dana White confirmed the matchup on Monday, adding that a title shot against Georges St-Pierre would be on the line in the fight, which is expected to take place at UFC 105.

Tim Kennedy submitted previously unbeaten prospect Zak Cummings in the second-round of their main event middleweight matchup at Friday’s Strikeforce Challengers event at the SpiritBank Event Center in Bixby, Oklahoma.

With opposing TUF 10 coach Quinton “Rampage” Jackson out for the indefinite future after calling it quits earlier this week, Rashad Evans will instead fight Thiago Silva in “December or early next year,” according to MMA Fanhouse, possibly at UFC 108 on January 2 in Las Vegas.
