Quinton “Rampage” Jackson Lands A-Team Role, Won’t Fight Rashad Evans at UFC 107

Popular light heavyweight and former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has landed the role of B. A. Baracus in the upcoming “A-Team” movie, which is currently being filmed for a mid-2010 release.

The role, which was portrayed by Mr. T in the 1980s series, will prevent Jackson from fighting Rashad Evans in the co-main event of UFC 107 on December 12, according to MMA Bay, which is known to have close ties to Jackson’s Wolfslair camp.

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira Slated to Make UFC Debut at UFC 105 in England

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, the twin brother of UFC heavyweight Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira who recently finalized a deal with the UFC, will make his debut for the promotion at UFC 105 on November 14 in Manchester, England, according to Fighters Only.

An opponent has not yet been named for the light heavyweight matchup, with Fighters Only reporting that the UFC hopes to have Nogueira fight for the title as soon as possible, indicating a fight against another 205-pound contender is likely for the card.

UFC 104 Press Conference Today in Los Angeles Open to Public

The UFC will hold a press conference on Tuesday at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles to promote its October 24 “UFC 104: Machida vs. Shogun” event, which takes place at the Staples Center in LA.

Though most of the focus at the press conference will be on UFC 104, White headed to Los Angeles on Monday with hopes of finalizing a deal with an undisclosed network to air a November event headlined by BJ Penn vs. Kenny Florian. If finished, the deal could be announced as early as today.
