Foster was left without an opponent last week when Daley was pulled from the matchup to replace an injured Mike Swick and fight Martin Kampmann on the UFC 103 main card.

The lineup for UFC 106 continues to shape up, with a fifth welterweight bout reportedly added to the card. Marcus “The Irish Hand Grenade” Davis will be taking on Ben “Killa B” Saunders at the November 21 event in Las Vegas, according to a report by MMA Junkie, and both fighters will be looking to rebound after recent losses.

Light heavyweights Matt Hamill and Jon Jones have agreed to meet at The Ultimate Fighter 10 Finale on December 5 in Las Vegas, according to MMA Madness, with bout agreements pending for the matchup that would co-headline the Spike TV-televised event.

UFC veterans Roan Carneiro and Yves Edwards helped American Top Team to a perfect 4-0 record at Friday’s “Shine 2: ATT vs. The World” event in Miami Florida. The Ultimate Fighter 6 cast member War Machine was also victorious in weekend action, stopping Mikey Gomez in the main event of Satruday’s XFC 9: Evolution event in Tampa, Florida.

Gina Carano, fresh off her first career loss to Cris “Cyborg” at an August 15 Strikeforce event, will star in the upcoming spy thriller “Knockout” before returning to the cage, Variety reports. Production for the film is slated to begin in January, sidelining Carano until mid-2010 at the earliest.

Welterweight veteran Denis Hallman, who signed a four-fight deal with the UFC last month, will return to the Octagon against John Howard at UFC 106 on November 21 in Las Vegas. Super heavyweight fighter Ross Clifton, known for his loss to veteran Ken Shamrock at a February War Gods event, has passed away at age 32 from an apparent heart attack, MMA Weekly reports.

The 380-pound fighter, nicknamed “The Grizzly,” was submitted by Shamrock in the opening round of their February 13 matchup, after which Shamrock was suspended for one-year due to a positive steroid test.

UFC middleweight champ Anderson Silva will soon undergo elbow surgery that will sideline him for the rest of the year, according to a Tweet from ESPN’s MMA Live.

Popular light heavyweight and former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has landed the role of B. A. Baracus in the upcoming “A-Team” movie, which is currently being filmed for a mid-2010 release.

The role, which was portrayed by Mr. T in the 1980s series, will prevent Jackson from fighting Rashad Evans in the co-main event of UFC 107 on December 12, according to MMA Bay, which is known to have close ties to Jackson’s Wolfslair camp.
