UFC 97 Weigh-Ins Set For Friday, Countdown Debuts Tonight

Weigh-ins for UFC 97: Redemption will take place this Friday, April 17th, at the Bell Centre in Montreal and will air live on UFC.com beginning at 6pm ET.
The venue will then host Saturday’s pay-per-view event, which is headlined by Anderson Silva vs. Thales Leites and Chuck Liddell vs. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.

i’m looking forward to seeing luis cane. He wouldn’t have kicked jardine’s ass. He’s one of those lhw’s that’s kind of unoticed at the moment. If they show any prelims i’d hella like to see “the crow” kick hermans ass or quarry vs mcdonald only cuz that’s a do or die match.

I agree with you. I’d hate to see Chuck lose this one and have to hear casual fans bloat about how much he sucks. It’s funny how when you’re on top the entire world bandwagon’s you, but once your down people won’t even give you credit.
I don’t think Dana will be doing anymore blogs since his little incident with LOretta Hunt. IMO he went a little overboard and the press responded quickly. I think it put a damper (not an end) to his big mouth being TOO open. It doesn’t look too good on the company.
I read that he will be doing one vlog for the event, instead of the whole week like he used to. Initially he had said that the vlogs were done and he wasn’t doing them anymore at all, but it seems like the outcry was great enough that he is going to do them but less of it.
Understandable. I did enjoy them, and personally his blog against Loretta didn’t get to me, but he could seriously kill his success quickly with public representation like that. We all know Dana has a big mouth, but that was harsh to the average eyes/ears.
