Strikeforce “Shamrock vs. Diaz” Weigh-In Results: Cyborg Misses Weight

Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos weighed-in six pounds over the 146-pound limit for her scheduled bout against Hitomi Akano on Friday in San Jose, California, and must shed an additional 2.5 pounds by 8pm PT for the bout to remain on the Strikeforce: Shamrock vs. Diaz card, which takes place on Saturday at the HP Pavilion in San Jose and airs live on Showtime.
The remainder of the main card, including headliners Nick Diaz and Frank Shamrock and interim lightweight title challengers Rodrigo Damm and Gilbert Melendez, successfully made weight.
