Amir Sadollah (1-0) and Johny Hendricks (5-0) have verbally agreed to meet at UFC 101 on August 8th in Philadelphia, according to MMA Junkie.

Fighting for just the second time in his professional career, the bout will be the first for Sadollah since winning the middleweight tournament on The Ultimate Fighter 7 last June and his first in the 170-pound welterweight division.

Hendricks will make the jump to the UFC after compiling a 2-0 record in the WEC’s welterweight division, most-recently defeating Alex Serdyukov in March.

Someone’s O gotta go (unless the draw, right Rashad?) Amir pretty please DO NOT hurt yourself this time, again, I mean really kid most fans are rooting for you to succeed, just stop hurting yourself…….

Amir! I was rootin’ for you when you were on the show, your a dope fighter. Make sure to kick some ass!

  • Justin says:

Definitely hope Amir stays healthy, and I will definitely be pulling for him in August.

this is a TOOOUUUUGGGGGHHHHHH fight for Amir to come into. He will have to rely on his submissions in this fight because Hendricks striking has really improved and Hendricks is one of the best college wrestlers of the last 10 years, so this will be a tough fight. He won’t be able to fight Hendricks like he did Dolloway because Hendricks will be looking for that.

  • Figs says:

I am definitely routing for Amir in this but I see Hendricks taking it. I could be wrong as Amir has shocked me in every fight I’ve seen him in except his last outing with C.B. This should be a good fight though.
