Jens Pulver (21-11-1) will look to rebound from three-straight losses and defeats in five of his last six bouts when he takes on Josh Grispi (12-1) in a featherweight contest at WEC 41. The event takes place on June 7th at the Arco Arena in Sacrament, California and is headlined by WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown taking on challenger and former title-holder Urijah Faber.

This is a very legit fight, Grispi is a hell of a fighter and also it is nice to see that Jens isn’t taking an “easy” fight to get back on his feet.. I also believe that Sacramento will be friendlier to Pulver this time around…

I’m a big Pulver fan, your right fr702, this isn’t a walk in the park for Jens, Grispi is a good fighter. I don’t want to see Jens lose 4 in a row. If he wins he should problably retire, i know he still wants to fight, but fighters now are too young, strong and well rounded. I’m not quite sure Pulver can hang much more with these guys. I want to see him go out on top, i don’t want him to end up like Ken Shamrock.

I too am a big fan of LiL Evil and taking the second Faber fight was well not the best idea, but when your boss asks you to do something, well ya do it…. Jens only being 34 I’m not too convinced that he would retire anytime soon, plus added his new baby I actually could see him fighting for awhile… If he does lose to Grispi, I think back to Japan goes Jens, but I don’t want to see that happen, I think the WEC is a perfect fit for him, the thing is that he can’t keep losing and keep a job… but hey he lost to the guy who just fought for the title and got destroyed (Garcia) and he fought Faber twice… And the first fight against Faber was pretty damn good if not great, soo I give him credit where it is due… I can’t wait to see Jens fight again live the first time was great, hope this time is even better.. and Jens comes out with the W

Yeah he’s only 34 so maybe i’m counting him out too soon. Well i hope he can bounce back and win 2 or 3 in a row to make another run to the top. He’s for sure got the tools to defeat most guys, his fight against Garcia i feel like he simply got caught, not taking any cred from Garcia though.
