Razor Rob: Sex Addict
I guess you can only throw so many porn-stars at a professional athlete before he requires specialized care. According to MMAWeekly, former WEC lightweight champion “Razor” Rob McCullough will be the latest addition to VH1’s hit reality series “Celebrity Rehab.” McCullough’s drug of choice? Sex. In fact, this edition of Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew will more than likely focus solely on those afflicted with sex addiction.
Razor Rob used to date (or still dates depending on who you ask) adult film star Lexxi Tyler, and “has been linked” to several other women in that industry in the past. Now I’m no head-shrinker, but let’s be honest, if the type of women that throw themselves at high profile MMA fighters were knocking down my door, I might require some professional attention as well. Sadly, that’s neither here nor there.
The report further states that McCullough is essentially trying to kill two birds with one stone, using his healing time (he broke his hand at WEC 39) to simultaneously deal with his aforementioned ailment. Whether his love sickness is cured or not, McCullough is anticipated to be “out of action” (in the cage) for about nine months. Best of luck, Rob.

That was pretty funny, but I certainly agree with your sentiments.
It’s good that he is getting help, even if he is following in Rico Rodriguez’s footsteps in going on celebrehab. I’m not sure how well having a bunch of sex addicts in the same facility is going to turn out, but at least they are shedding some light on the issue. (Which is a very real issue.)

Hello my name is FR702 and I’am a sex addict… I often times find myself thinking about sex while I’m having sex.. I have to have sex a minimum of 3 times a day, it consumes me.. I would state that I think sex is the most important thing to me when I’m having sex… O wait, I’m not a sex addict I’m 29 and really enjoy good sex, that’s what it must be geez I almost thought I needed help with this nonissue..
There is a difference between wanting to have and/or having lots of sex, and being a sex addict. A sex addict is someone that literally cannot live with out it, often times people with sex addictions will not only have lots of sex, but potentially multiple partners in a day on a regular basis. In some instances there are people that are sex addicts that are married and screwing their spouse, got two or more on the side that they have sex with on a regular basis, then go hire prostitutes on a regular basis, then wank in addition to all of that. (By “regular basis” I mean almost daily.)
And that’s to a degree that it’s an uncontrollable urge, not “Well I’d really to like to have sex so I’m going to go have sex with this person.” It’s a “By any means necessary, with whoever happens to be available I am going to have sex dangit!” on repeat every so many hours, situation sometimes. It’s an instance where the people don’t really, in the bottom of their heart, want to have sex all the time, but if they don’t get it then it consumes them, the same way a drug addict will feel like they “have” to get drugs, even if deep down they want to quit.
The rehab for this is often not based on giving up sex, necessarily, but dealing with the underlying psychological causes of the addiction, and helping the person to understand “healthy” levels of sexual activity.
It is hard to imagine Razor Rob being able to be successfully treated for sex addiction if he plans to continue on as a professional mixed martial artist. Every time he fights, I am sure there are tons of beautiful women throwing themselves at him, and once it becomes nationally known that he is a sex addict, I would not be surprised if that simply made even more beautiful chicks throw themselves at him. Alcoholics can stay away from bars and liquor stores and drug addicts can stay away form their dealers, but how is Razor Rob supposed to keep his temptation at bay when there are always beautiful, scantily-clad women all around? In this sense, I think being a sex addict is more like being a food addict than an alcoholic or drug addict, because you can’t live without food, just like you can’t really live without sex.

Ok well it maybe only be pleasurable for 25~30yrs but really com’on… Did you read some of those quotes? One of them was like, I don’t have to meet those two asian girls parents, the other guy was like I have mind blowing toe curling sex… That was (for me) more comedic than anything else… Booo hooo you have fabulous random great sex with chicks everyday, and you feel a little lonely inside when you’re 60 yrs old o darn, and all you have is vivid explicit memories for the great sex you have had in your life….
Phooey, it might be a real “problem” but must people don’t really complain about having said problem, awwww I’m F~ing hot women with zero commentment and no “headaches”…. They can get married if they want but choose to have sex with random ladies and enjoy their life in that specific manner, so be it…
