Aleksander Emelianenko (15-3) won his sixth-straight bout on Sunday at ProFC 5: Russia vs. Europe, defeating Ibragim Magomedov (21-6-1) via first-round TKO at the Palace of Sports in Rostov-on-do, Russia.
Emelianenko was rocked by a right early in the opening round, but opened up a cut on Magomedov during a later exchange that forced the referee to step in and halt the contest early in the first round.
A video of the fight is embedded below:

Crappy ending to this fight. I hate seeing fights stop because of cuts, it kind of tarnishes the entire fight.
very true but there nothing that can be done about it! oh well easy money made by Aleksander Emelianenko
Everyone knows that losing via cut isn’t REALLY a loss…at least that is what everyone says about our favorite Russian… Does that rule only apply if your last name is Emilianenko, or does your first name have to be Fedor too?
looks like fedor got rocked there, too bad about hte cut i wonder how this fight would have really ended
Wrong brother.
It’s an honest mistake. It’s not like the guy’s name is in the title or anything.
Oh wait.
Its aleksander
not fedor
jeez back off
… i was looking at the post above mine and saw fedor…
even in the video i was thinkin…” this guy doesnt look like fedor”
and it was like 7:30am my time i just woke up
lol… it’s all good
So this isn’t a real “win” you guys are saying, but the same people will come back and tell you that when Fedor lost it is a real loss. Give it a rest. L2P nubs.
