CB Dollaway vs. Tom Lawlor Signed For UFC 100
CB Dollaway
A middleweight matchup pitting The Ultimate Fighter 7 runner-up CB Dollaway against The Ultimate Fighter 8 cast member Tom Lawlor has been signed for the the UFC 100 preliminary card, according to MMA Junkie.
Dollaway (8-1), an All-American wrestler at Arizona State University, compiled an undefeated 6-0 record before being cast on The Ultimate Fighter. “The Doberman” advanced to the 185-pound semifinals with wins over Nick Klein and Cale Yarbrough, but lost to Amir Sadollah. Dollaway replaced Jesse Taylor in the finals with a victory over Tim Credeur, but was again submitted by Sadollah at the series finale. Dollaway has since won back-to-back fights over Taylor and Mike Massenzio.
Lawlor (5-1) competed in the light heavyweight tournament on The Ultimate Fighter, defeating Ryan Lopez in the opening round before being defeated by eventual winner Ryan Bader in the show’s quarterfinals. He made his UFC debut at The Ultimate Fighter 8 Finale, defeating Kyle Kingsbury via unanimous decision in December.
UFC 100 takes place on July 11th at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.

I expect Dollaway to win this one, probably by submission. I don’t like either fighter, so whatever, they could KO each other and get a No Contest for all I care.

Nicely said Justin, I also could care less about this fight. I really can’t stand how CB always looks like something smells. Ill just call him “Stinky” from now on. Must have been a birth defect or somethin.
I agree about CB, but I’m actually a Lawler fan. He didn’t have a chance to shine on TUF, but he seems like a pretty down to earth guy and has participated in a few shenanigans with the Monsters of the Morning out of Orlando. Any MMA fighter who’ll get in a ring to box a dude in a bear suit, and then leave drunk, threatening voicemails to said bear-man after losing in a popularity contest is OK in my book.

Ok Gun he might be a wonderful person, and a delight to be around in person…. I’m not going to argue with you on that.. The thing is (or seems to be with most people that don’t care for him), is that he seems like a whinny little biotch.. For example when he tapped against Amir (either time)and with his reaction, makes his public persona not so bueno.. I by no means am arguing that he can put a hell of a neck tie on Coco the Pissing Gorilla like none other but he isn’t a fan favorite due to the fact he can’t take his loss like a man…. imo…..
This fight I see going to Dollaway probably by sub and hopefully he does it in a wonderful fashion, and hopefully he is humble when he wins..
I hope that Tom Lawlor can win by either tko or sub. I don’t care much for Dollaway because of what fr702 pointed out. He tapped against Amir and didn’t own up to it. I liked CB Dallaway until he tapped and bi*ched about it. Dallaway is an ok fighter, but he’s not that significant in my opinion. Lawlor in the 3rd via anything, i just hope he wins.

I don’t know about all that stuff you mentioned, but I can agree with him needing to keep his mouth shut, I wouldn’t dislike him as much if he hadn’t run his mouth so much both on TUF and after his fights since.
I like both guys.
i wonder if CB will tap again, without the ref seeing, and continue the fight??? there’s enough talent milling around that i don’t think we have to see this chump again?…
dolloway is just another TUF dude who isn’t going to anything. Especially now that the mw division is growing in talent.
