Is Freeman v. Mowry at a catch weight? I may try to catch this on a stream, but 8pm is an early start.
I kinda want to see Monson v Big Country, and ofcourse see Lashley destroy the Guida not named Clay
Yeah, agreed. I was interested in the Petruzelli fight before he had to pull out, too.
yep and he would destroy other guida to because of like 100 pound wieght difference
Is this dins first fight at 145?
WHAT CHANNEL WILL THIS BE ONE????
PPV, or various online sources.
Watching the Lashley fight now.. Guida has had good takedown defense. The boxing ring ropes are MISERABLE for MMA.
Note* the ropes in this ring are a lot more loose than the ones in DREAM or Sengoku, and the ring is a lot smaller.
*note,
Bobby Lashley needs to work alot on his MMA, Guida is absolutely awful, and the ropes were stupid (use of boxing ropes) boxing ref judging the match = bad idea, and well I’m over it Lashley is 2~0 guida did nothing to backup his ****t talk
Just watched the fight, Lashley did alright I guess for his 2nd fight but he’s no Lesnar …….. in the same breath hes also more legitimate then a Kimbo Slice ……
Get him on TUF ….. I think that would be great for him…..
Yeah, the boxing Ref+Boxing Ring+Boxing fans = FAIL.
Lashley looked ok, now gonna go pull for the Longhorns to upset Dook while this stupid Boxing is on, and hopefully catch Monson when I come back. (Another dumb decision to do a boxing match before the last MMA fight.)
I feel like Lashely really needs to diversify his striking, he had plenty of opportunities to throw knees in the clinch, and didn’t even think about it. Lesnar is definitely a different beast than Lashley, Lashley will come along ok I think, but he’s not the next Lesnar, by a long shot. Sort of got the GnP/LnP victory in this one.
Ok I will be the one to say that IF Shammy Shamm didn’t take the roids, I think Lashley would have definately had a more difficult time winning because I believe Shammy Shamm could have came A LOT closer to getting a sub in that fight…
Lashley is not at the level of Brock yet with more experience Lashley can grow and become a better fighter.. His stinking needs to improve and ironically (for a decorated wrestler not that WWF shhit either) his “shots” were not explosive what so ever.. Hopefully in time he will become a more complete MMA fighter.
Yeah, I think Shammy Shamm might could have beat him actually, definitely would have been a stiffer test than fat Guida.
I’m definitely not ruling out Lashley’s potential, but he still has a lot to learn. Definitely the striking needs to improve, but I was less than impressed with his takedowns, but I think that fat Guida grabbing the ropes to begin with didn’t help Lashley out very much, nor did that stupid tiny boxing ring with super floppy ropes. In a cage I think Lashley’s takedown percentage from that fight increases greatly.
they cant say lashley isn’t a brock lesnar yet till we see what he got.
I just saw “what he got”, now go read my comments to see what I think.
Roy Nelson just got robbed big time in the fight against Monson, worst decision I have seen in a Looonnnnnggggg time WOW
Agreed.
