WSOF 7: Palmer Replaces Glenn in Vancouver

Rick Glenn

Personal reasons have struck Rick Glenn from the inaugural WSOF featherweight title fight opposite Georgi Karakhanyan at WSOF 7. Stepping into the bout will be top featherweight prospect Lance Palmer (7-0). WSOF officials announced the move earlier today.

Palmer, the Resurrection Fighting Alliance featherweight champion, has won all seven of his professional bouts since turning pro in 2011. The former All-American wrestler at Ohio State has fit in nicely at Team Alpha Male since ending his college career. Palmer won the RFA title at RFA 8, defeating Jared Downing on short notice.

WSOF 7 takes place December 7 at the PNE Agrodome in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The December fight card will be headlined by a light heavyweight showdown pitting Anthony Johnson against Mike Kyle. A middleweight tournament bout between Elvis Mutapcic and Jesse Taylor will co-headline the fight card. More bouts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
