UFC Quick Hits 11/13 – Kedzie’s New Opponent, “Jason” Suspended, and More

  • UFC women’s bantamweight fighter Julie Kedzie has a new opponent lined up for UFC Fight Night 33 in Brisbane, Australia. The veteran fighter will take on undefeated Brazilian prospect Bethe Correia (6-0) on December 6. UFC Australia officials announced the fight late Tuesday.
  • Rony “Jason” has been suspended an additional 30-days by the Brazilian Athletic Commission (CABMMA) for unsportsmanlike conduct following last weekend’s loss to Jeremy Stephens. “Jason” was injured after punching through a door following his loss. The suspension will be served after the completion of his 180-day suspension.
  • Fight Sport Asia is reporting that the UFC Singapore fight card will see featherweights Will Chope and Bekbulat Magomedov battle it out in the Asian city-state. An official announcement from the UFC is expected to come soon.
  • The UFC is currently seeking a replacement to face Sean Spence after an injury to Sergio Moraes prior to The Ultimate Fighter 18 Live Finale on November 30.
