MMAFrenzy’s coverage of UFC Fight Night 32 continues with our recap of tonight’s welterweight fight between Brandon Thatch and Paulo Thiago. The bout would see the prospect best the veteran tonight, as “Ruckus” was too much for the BOPE operator.
Thatch Crushes Thiago
Brandon Thatch blistered Paulo Thiago tonight in quick and decisive fashion in Brazil. While Thiago would score a brief takedown and land some hard strikes, Thatch’s strength and knee assaults simply proved too much for the Brazilian. Thatch is now 2-0 in the UFC and has won his last ten fights. Thiago is yet again at a crossroads, as the popular but inconsistent fighter has lost five of his last seven.
Rd. 1- Thiago is playing the outside of the cage so far tonight. Thiago with a takedown but Thatch works up and controls the clinch along the cage. Hard knees by Thatch and he lands a step knee to the body that drops Thiago and the Brazilian immediately taps out.
