This is how you ruin a fighter. Rampage said before asked how his jaw was hurt and how he was over Trained coming off fighting and training for his fight for Wandy, Then to return and fight and Train for Jardine. And Now they want him to turn around and train and fight Rashad in A CHAMPIONSHIP FIVE ROUND FIGHT at UFC 98!!
Knowing Rampage he will do it because he is a true fighter but that is a easy way to get beat.. To train that hard and that long, it does damage to your body and family…… All that time away..
Seeing as how Rashad turned down the opportunity to fight Rampage after his fight with forrest.
Dont the ufc have different people to fight other than Rampage or Gsp,
If he get hurt in training or gets beat bad in the fight, all that is remembered is he lost… Not how hard he trained and spent all that time away from his family for the better portion of a year stretch.
Rashad sent Jardine into fight Rampage first that is what happend… Rampage has a hurt jaw, well he gets punched in the face for a living that shhit happens, it is up to Rampage to choose if he wants to fight… I want to see it and alot of people want to see Rampage brutally retrieve his title…. But if he doesnt take the fight then Lyoto gets the shot It is up to Quinton we shall see… And if his jaw was that F’d up he would have gotten ko’d lastnight… Kos has been fighting the most out of any of the fighters recently..

YEAH IT IS UP TO RAMPAGE AND IN MY HEART I WANNA SEE HIM AND RASHAD BUT I WANNA SEE THE BEST BOTH MEN HAVE TO OFFER FOR THAT FIGHT. NOT A FRESH RASHAD WHO JUST USED HIS SO CALLED BEST FRIEND TO SCOUT RAMPAGE FOR WEAKNESS. AND A OVERLY TRAINED TIRED RAMPAGE WHO LOOKS LIKE HE DID TONIGHT.
IF LOYOTO GET FIRST CRACK SO BE IT.. HEY I WONT REALLY BE MAD EITHER WAY….
I like what rampage said, “I’m having kids left and right, gonna make some tonight.” made me laugh. hopefully he will not take the evans fight, he needs to rest and heal. Rashad wont remain champ if he faces machida, and if he faces rampage he has a better chance. I would rather see rampage-machida for the title. If machida were to try an armbar, rampage could pick him up and slam a la pride. rampage had wicked slams and I really havent seen him do any in the ufc, that shiit is amazing. rampage shouldve popped sugar in the post-fight smack talk. sugar didnt look cocky he looked scared.
rampage didnt look too happy at the idea of fighting so soon, and hopefully he realizes he should wait until he is a 100%. say he takes the fight and loses to sugar, he wont realistically get a title shot until 6-12 months later. it will be sugar-machida, then off at least 3 months (as is customary after a fight) then maybe forrest and rampage fight for #1 contender, then winner moves on to a title shot. Forrest is right behind rampage and depending on how he does in his next fight he might get to fight to be number 1 contender.
I also think that if machida wins he will hold the title for a long time a la anderson silva, they are both elusive counter strikers, however machida prefers the ground, and the top 5 at 205 come from wrestling backgrounds. rampage use your brain, I wont think any less of you if you dont take the rashad fight now, and neither will a lot of people. I would actually think more of you for being a smart guy and making smart career moves.
Maybe it’s just me, but these all seem to run together in my head, to the point where it seems I’ve seen them all before. I’d like to see something besides “I’m in my car. On the way to check out _____. Damn we rule.”
considering this thread is suppoed to be about dana’s blog and there isn’t much to say means the blogs are a bit l ame.
dana is really brilliant when tlking about fights, but watching him eat, and curse streetlamps id not entertaining. if i wanted to be entertained about nothing i’d watch seinfed re-runs
this set was far more enteretaining than the last few sets of vlogs imo.
anyway, just wanted to comment on how carwin looked like he was in more pain than he’s ever experienced.
