A featherweight matchup between Tatsuya Kawajiri and Hacran Dias has been set for the UFC’s first trip to Singapore. While the bout’s placement has not been announced at this time, the bout will almost certainly land on the main card. FightSportsAsia.com first announced the pairing, with UFC officials recently confirming the pairing.
Kawajiri’s signing was recently announced by the promotion after winning his last five fights since losing to former Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez. Dias comes into the bout after seeing his nine-fight win streak stopped by Nik Lentz at UFC on FX 8.
The UFC’s trip to Singapore will take place January 4 and is expected to be UFC Fight Night 34. The fight card’s broadcast plans have yet to be officially announced, but the card will air via FOX Sports 1 or FOX Sports 2.
