Kiril Sidelnikov, who was defeated by Paul Buentello at Affliction: Day of Reckoning, has tested positive for the banned steroid Stanzanol.
The California State Athleitc Commission, which oversaw the January 24th event in Anaheim, has issued “Baby Fedor” a one year suspension which runs through January 18, 2010 and has also fined Sidelnikov $2,500.
Sidelnikov appeared significantly out of shape for his bout against “The Headhunter” and it showed in the ring, with Buentello thrashing him for two complete rounds before the doctor called an end to the contest late in the third following another dominant frame.

It must suck to know that you cheated and still lost.
ya, i dont know if this guy will ever live up to “expectations”..I dont see him being even close to fedor…..
Hope Fedor is keeping clean. I know they trained together quit a bit
He doesn’t really have a steroid body….
it sucks that he lost after cheating. espically getting busted for roids, that dude dont look like he uses roids, hes a bit flabby. feel bad for him. oh well.
all russians are flabby and tough its in the genepool
What about Arlovski?
Arlovski isn’t Russian.
technically neither is Fedor if you want to go that route haha
Both were born in the Soviet Union, Fedor in what is now Ukraine and Arlovski in what is now Belarus. Only difference is Fedor’s family moved.
Anyways back to the article, Stanzanol isn’t solely a muscle builder, it’s more of a cutting agent. Now if you are taking it with another type of supplement it will build mass but otherwise it’s most effective for cutting water weight. More than likely he was taking another supplement with it. Explains why he fought so terrible though, that stuff kills your endurance.
thats right arlovski is a pit-bull… with a glass jaw
