Johny Hendricks, Alex Serdyukov, Damacio Page, and Mike Brown each received $7,500 bonuses from the WEC on Sunday for their performances at WEC 39.
The event took place yesterday at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas in front of an official crowd of 6,100, which generated a live gate of $297,990.
Johny Hendricks topped Alex Serdyukov via unanimous decision on the WEC 39 preliminary card to earn “Fight of the Night” honors for the pair.
Damacio Page took home “Knockout of the Night” for his 18-second knockout of Marcos Galvao, which also took place on the preliminary card but was aired during the Versus broadcast. Galvao was taken from the ring on a stretcher and was sent to the hospital for precautionary reasons but his medicals checked out and he was quickly released.
WEC featherweight champion Mike Brown earned “Submission of the Night” for his trouncing of challenger Leonard Garcia that ended when Garcia tapped to an arm trangle just 1:57 into the first round.

Brown destroyed Gracia simply put.. I thought that the fight would have been more competitive than it was.. Serves Garcia right, thinking that he was good enough to be champ, and get what was rightfully his… The kid came out to some great tunes forsure
Page koing that kid was awesome but the fact that he had a siezure isn’t a good sign… But also he got cleard by medical so that was a benefit for him personally..
again Hicks v Razor Rob was a let down, and Bartimus what happened to the’?
