UFC 166: Newcomer Fili Faces Larsen

An injury to Charles Oliveira has forced a reshuffling of the UFC 166 lineup as newcomer Andre Fili will take on Jeremy Larsen. The bout will remain on the Facebook preliminary card. UFC officials confirmed the switch on Monday.

Fili is a talented Team Alpha Male product who has won eight-straight fights dating back to 2011. Fili has amassed a 12-1 career mark and has finished nine of his twelve victories. His lone loss was RFA veteran, and now-teammate, Derrick Burnsed.

UFC 166 is headlined by the third fight between UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez and Junior dos Santos. A bout between Daniel Cormier and Roy Nelson will co-headline the billing. The fight card will take place October 19 at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.
