The UFC has added two fights to their year-end UFC 168 fight card as lightweights Jim Miller and Fabricio Camoes are set to meet in addition to a welterweight bout between Bobby Voelker and William Macario. UFC officials announced each bout over the weekend.
Both pairings feature fighters in need of a victory with all four coming off losses in their previous outings in the Octagon. UFC stalwart Jim Miller will look to get his hand raised after a decisive loss to Pat Healy at UFC 159 (though the bout was later deemed a no contest), while Camoes will be looking to bounce back after a long layoff following his UFC 148 loss to Melvin Guillard.
The pairing of Voelker and TUF: Brazil 2’s Macario will see the victor gain their first UFC victory, while the loser will likely be released from the promotion.
UFC 168 is set for December 28 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The year-end event will see a pair of anticipated rematches atop the pay-per-view as UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman takes on Anderson Silva and UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey takes on Miesha Tate. More bouts are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
