UFC 97 Officially Sold Out

The UFC has announced that UFC 97: Redemption, which is slated for April 18th at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada, is officially sold out less than one week after tickets went on sale.
The UFC’s first trip to Montreal last April for UFC 83, which was headlined by a welterweight rematch between Georges St-Pierre and Matt Serra, was also a quick sellout, with more that 13,000 tickets sold on the first day.
UFC 97 is headlined by UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva defending his title against challenger Thales Leites and also features Chuck Liddell vs. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.

Can’t wait:
Silva TKO
Liddell TKO
Soszynski Sub
Kongo UD
Cane TKO
Foupa-Pokam Sub
MacDonald UD
Loiseau TKO
Bocek Sub
Grant Sub
Stout UD
silvas gonna eat leites lunch all night
I think Silva will go out pissed off and ready to finish in Round 1. I’m not a fan, but I’m expecting no Cote-like dances from him. I think he’ll finish quickly.
I just hope we don’t get subjected to his “gay ninja” celebration.
LOL. Well said.
dbiz, you know you LOVE it.
What the UFC is claiming on UFC.com is this was a quicker sellout than last year, which is bunk. Last year I wasn’t in the fight club and couldn’t get a ticket within the first minute that it was on sale to the general public. However, this year I got the fight club and know people who are sitting in the same section as myself who got tickets day 2 of the general public sale. Not sure how they worked their numbers out.
Regardless, not to sound so negative I’m seriously excited for this and glad I didn’t jump on the Ohio tickets based on rumours as I think this turned out to be a better card.
It hasn’t turned out to be anything yet. You can’t compare cards months before the events.
MY apologies that I didn’t express myself in the fashion that you would have stated so. How is this: I personally look forward to all of the matchups on the 97 card more than I look forward to the 96 card. Can I state that?
How long do you think UFC 100 will take to sellout. Fight club membership will proabably be needed to get tickets for that. I’m hoping tickets aren’t gonna be too jacked up for that event
Im just wondering how early ill have to get to buffalo wild wings to get a seat….I showed up to ufc 92 two hours early and almost didnt get a seat….Ill probably show up at least three hours ealry for ufc 100
Can’t wait for UFC 100, day before my b-day and really should plan a trip to Vegas for it. Can only imagine how much the tickets will be though.
great card
i already knew that it was sold out like two weeks ago
