A pair of bouts have been added to UFC Fight Night 31: Fight for the Troops 3 as middleweights Derek Brunson and Antonio Braga Neto are set to meet with WMMA bantamweights Amanda Nunes and Germaine de Randamie facing off as well. UFC officials recently made both bouts official.
Both bouts will see the respective fighters try to gain victories in their second UFC fights. Brunson versus Neto will be a classic struggle between wrestler and BJJ specialist, while Nunes versus De Randamie is an intriguing matchup of WMMA heavy hitters.
The UFC’s third “Fight for the Troops” event will take place at the home of the legendary 101st Airborne Division in Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Headlining UFC Fight Night 31 will be a middleweight matchup between Lyoto Machida and United States Army Special Forces sniper Tim Kennedy. The fight card will air live on November 6 via FOX Sports 1, with the preliminary card likely landing on Facebook.
