Makdessi Blasts Forte
John Makdessi made a statement tonight against Renee Forte with a devastating knockout victory in tonight’s Facebook feature fight. “The Bull” would catch Forte behind the ear and landed a brutal series of unanswered strikes before the referee intervened late. The victory is Makdessi’s third straight in the Octagon, while Forte could find himself unemployed after falling to 1-2 tonight.
Prazeres Defeats Ronson
It was not pretty, but Michel Prazeres would secure the victory over Jesse Ronson tonight in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The victory is the Brazilian’s first in the UFC after Paulo Thiago handed him his first career loss at UFC on FX 8.
Caceres Edges Delorme
Alex Caceres pulled out a victory over Roland Delorme on tonight’s preliminary card. The back-and-forth battle could have gone either way as the action was very even. In the end, the judges saw fight to give Caceres his third victory in his last four fights.
Omielańczuk Floors Guelmino
Tonight’s UFC 165 fight card kicked off in the heavyweight division as European fighters Daniel Omielanczuk and Nandor Guelmino squared off.
